The opportunity as Customer Quality EngineerOur client is looking for an experienced Customer Quality Engineer to become a key link between its customers and manufacturing teams.You''ll take ownership of customer complaints and corrective actions, using tools such as 8D, 5 Why and root cause analysis to get beyond the immediate problem and stop it coming back. You''ll also support customer audits, visits and quality reviews, while working closely with production and suppliers to resolve issues.Alongside the day-to-day customer quality work, you''ll be involved in PPAP, APQP, PFMEA, Control Plans, process audits and continuous improvement, with a strong focus on reducing PPM, scrap, rework and the ever-unpopular Cost of Poor Quality.
