Credit Controller

If you''re someone who is focused, tenacious, and not afraid to have the difficult conversations, this is an opportunity to come in and make a genuine impact.Reporting directly to an outstanding Financial Controller, your responsibilities will include:Proactively chasing outstanding debt via phone and emailBuilding strong relationships with customers to ensure timely paymentsIdentifying and resolving invoice queries quickly and effectivelyManaging and reducing aged debtAllocating cash and reconciling accountsPlacing accounts on stop and making commercial decisions around riskProducing aged debtor reports and supporting month-end processesWorking closely with internal teams (sales, operations, finance) to resolve issuesDriving improvements in processes and credit control performanceThe successful candidate will have proven experience within Credit Control, and strong communication skills (confident on the phone and able to hold your ground).
