They are looking for a confident and proactive Credit Controller to join their close-knit finance team and play a key role in maintaining healthy cash flow and strong customer relationships.Benefits: Competitive salary of £28,000 - £32,000 DOEFull-time, permanent opportunityMonday to Friday office hoursFully office-based roleSupportive and collaborative team environmentOpportunity to work closely with multiple departments across the business Duties of a Credit Controller: Manage credit control activities and debt recoveryBuild positive relationships with customers whilst ensuring timely collection of outstanding paymentsReconcile customer accounts and resolve account queriesPost payments to the ledger and reconcile against invoicesGenerate invoices and ensure accurate customer billingLog invoices with customers and raise credit notes where requiredProcess banking transactionsTake credit card payments over the telephonePrepare and issue monthly customer statementsSupport wider sales ledger activities as requiredEnsure all duties are completed accurately, efficiently and in line with good accounting practiceContinually develop knowledge and skills to support the role ..... full job details .....
