Credit Controller

Michael Page are partnering with a successful business looking for a Credit Controller to join their team on a permanent basis.Client DetailsOur client is based in Southampton, and due to a busy period and various ongoing projects, the team is looking for additional support.DescriptionManage and monitor outstanding debts to ensure timely payments.Maintain accurate records of all credit control activities.Communicate effectively with clients to resolve payment issues.Prepare reports on debtor balances and payment trends for internal review.Work closely with the accounting team to reconcile accounts.Ensure compliance with company credit policies and procedures.Assist in setting credit limits for new and existing customers.Handle queries related to invoices and payments professionally.ProfileA successful Credit Controller should have:Experience in credit control or a similar accounting role.Strong communication and negotiation skills.Attention to detail and accuracy in managing financial data.Good organisational and time management skills.Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.A problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle disputes effectively.Job OfferCompetitive salary ranging from £30,000 to £35,000, dependent on the level of experience.Permanent position.If you''re interested in this role, apply now.People are at the heart of Michael Page.
