We are looking for a proactive and ambitious candidate to join our credit control department. Key focus will be on cash collection and debt reduction, working alongside the wider Finance team and stakeholders across the business.Responsibilities

Contacting customers to ensure timely payment of invoices to meet agreed monthly targetsResolving credit control and collections issues efficiently, effectively and professionallyManaging high volume of emails/calls, both incoming and outgoing, in a timely mannerLogging queries accurately on our in-house system and following through to resolutionReconciling accountsBuild relationships both internally and with customersAd Hoc duties when required (Accounts inbox requirements)Ensuring the collection process is followed and maintained in a timely mannerCoordinating and processing monthly direct debit payments, ensuring strict adherence to established proceduresPerson, Skills and Experience

Excellent Microsoft Excel SkillsExcellent written and verbal communications skillsExperience on the rest of the Microsoft package; Word, Outlook, SharePoint and TeamsMaths and English GCSEs minimum grade C2 Years minimum experience in a credit control roleAbility to work individually and as part of a teamExcellent customer service skillsExcellent communication skillsResults/target focusedHardworking, persistent, and dependablePositive and enthusiastic with a ‘can do attitude’Attention to detailMotivation and a desire to do a great job and thrive in a busy fast-paced environmentA team player who knows when to ask for help and is happy to offer support to colleaguesWhy BCN?
