Credit Control Team LeaderLocation: Bedford Hours: 37 hours per week, full-time Salary: £35,000 £37,000 DOE Contract: PermanentAre you an experienced Credit Control professional with proven experience managing and developing a small team?We are looking for a Credit Control Team Leader to join a well-established organisation based in Bedford. This is a key role responsible for overseeing the day-to-day billing and credit control function, while leading and supporting a small finance team.You will need to be highly organised, confident managing complex accounts and comfortable handling sensitive payment conversations, with a strong focus on accuracy, customer service and developing your team.Please note: Previous experience managing a small team is essential for this position, and we will only be able to consider applicants who can demonstrate this experience.About the role:You will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of the billing and credit control function, ensuring accounts are managed effectively, invoices are accurate and produced on time, and the team delivers a consistent and high-quality service.Key responsibilities will include: Lead, support and develop a small finance team.Oversee the complete billing and credit control cycle.Ensure invoices are accurate and produced within agreed timescales.Manage customer accounts and oversee collection activity.Manage complex account queries and escalations.Support customers experiencing payment difficulties and ..... full job details .....
