Credit Controller

Job Title: Credit ControllerLocation: BirminghamSalary: £28,000-£30,000 per yearHours: 37.5 hours per week - opportunity to work from home 1 day per week after 6 monthsThe role: As a Credit Controller you will play a crucial role in managing and collecting debts from our clients, ensuring the company maintains a healthy cashflow. You will build strong relationships with internal and external business partners, to resolve payment queries and support the wider finance team. Please note that this is dealing with BtoC customers, so it would be preferable that you have strong BtoC collections experience. If you also have experience within the insurance sector, that would be a bonus. Key Responsibilities: Debt collection experienceAdministration of loansEnsuring signed documents are received from clientsPreparation of AUDDIS and DD collection filesProcessing ADDACS and ARUDD reportsProcessing PCL receipts into EPIC (insurance ledger)Processing payments across internal systemsReceipting card payments in EPIC cashbookWeekly Debt reportingLiaising with external debt collection agenciesReferring cases when escalation necessaryLiaising with agency to progress collectionsReporting on agency progressProcessing refundsMoney to client bank/credit cardsPreparing bank payments for authorisationUpdating inhouse system with refund informationDaily bank reconciliationsSupporting on Client Money Account reconciliations and receiptingAssisting in other Finance tasks when necessary Desired skills: ..... full job details .....
