My client in the LS11 area of Leeds are looking for an experienced Steel Material Handler / Crane Operative.Role PurposeTo ensure the safe and efficient Stacking and unstacking of steel sections from the saw, maintaining a high standard of safety at all times. The individual will be responsible for handling materials, verifying documentation, and organising products in accordance with operational requirements. Attention to detail and a proactive approach to safety are essential, as the role involves regular manual handling and the operation of Over Head Cranes in a busy environment.Role ResponsibilitiesStacking steel from the saws into packages and distributing packages around the factoryOrganizing Plates & fittings into packages and distributing them around the factory.Responsible for selecting and arranging products to fulfil both internal and external orders.Working to strict Health & Safety standards at all timesSkills, Experience and QualificationsOHC experience is essentialWorking days.IND123
