Students have access to excellent facilities, including specialist classrooms, modern technology, a theatre, lecture theatre, sports facilities and a range of outdoor learning spaces.

The school is particularly proud of its approach to pastoral care and personal development, supporting students to develop respect, responsibility, resilience and independence alongside their academic achievements.

There is also a strong emphasis on preparing students for life beyond school, with careers guidance, university links, enrichment programmes and opportunities for students to develop practical and enterprise skills.

The school describes itself as “much more than just a school”, with a strong connection to the wider local community and a range of initiatives and facilities designed to provide students with experiences beyond the traditional classroom.
