The Cover Supervisor is responsible for maintaining a productive learning environment rather than carrying out full teacher-level planning and assessment. Responsibilities of a Cover SupervisorThe Cover Supervisor will: Supervise KS3 and KS4 classes. Introduce the work that teaching staff have already set. Make sure pupils understand instructions. Keep pupils focused and on task. Maintain classroom routines. Apply the school''s behaviour policy consistently. Manage transitions between activities. Work across different secondary subjects. Follow safeguarding procedures. Report relevant information to teaching staff.
