Cover Supervisor

Role: Cover Supervisor Rate of pay: £110 - £130 per dayLocation: Dudley About the role We are currently recruiting Cover Supervisors to join the Secondary Phase of a dynamic and inclusive Academy in Dudley. The school is seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals who can provide short-term classroom cover, with longer-term opportunities available for those able to commit to extended placements. As a Cover Supervisor, you will: • Supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of teachers • Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and ensure students remain engaged and on task • Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies • Provide feedback to teaching staff on student progress and behaviour Role Requirements Previous experience supporting children within a secondary school is essentialDegree in education or equivalent qualificationA patient, nurturing, and empathetic approachAbility to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently when requiredStrong communication skills, both with pupils and staffA commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children (an enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain one through Connex Education, is required) Benefits of working with Connex Competitive daily ratePAYE Paid weeklyFunded formal qualification, from Level 2 SEND, Level 3 Teaching and Learning, Level 4 HTLA, Level 5 TEFLCareer progression via our Care to classroom setting conversion course Are you interested?
