Are you an enthusiastic and confident Food Technology Cover Supervisor looking for your next opportunity in Birmingham?Our education recruitment agency is currently working with a welcoming and well-resourced secondary school in Birmingham to recruit a dedicated Food Technology Cover Supervisor for a full-time position, five days per week.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive school where you''ll help ensure continuity of learning within the Food Technology department by supervising practical and theory lessons during teacher absences.The RoleSupervise Food Technology lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 using pre-prepared lesson plans.Ensure students remain engaged and complete the work set by the class teacher.Support practical cooking lessons while maintaining high standards of health and safety.Manage classroom behaviour in line with the school''s policies.Provide feedback to teaching staff on student engagement, behaviour, and lesson outcomes.The Ideal CandidateExperience working with young people in a school or educational setting is desirable.Previous experience in Food Technology, catering, hospitality, or a related field would be an advantage.Confident managing groups of students in both classroom and practical environments.Strong communication, organisational, and behaviour management skills.A current enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.What We OfferCompetitive daily pay rates.Dedicated support from an experienced education ..... full job details .....
