Whether you''re an experienced Cover Supervisor, a recent graduate considering a career in teaching, or someone with experience working with young people, we have flexible opportunities to suit your availability. We offer daily supply, short-term, long-term and permanent roles across a variety of secondary schools.

The Role

As a Cover Supervisor, you will:

• Supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of the class teacher.
• Deliver pre-planned lessons and ensure students remain engaged with their learning.
• Maintain high standards of behaviour in line with the school''s policies.
• Support students with questions relating to the work set.
• Ensure a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Record attendance and report any concerns to the appropriate staff member.
• Provide feedback to teaching staff on lesson engagement and behaviour.
• Uphold all safeguarding and school procedures.

We Are Looking For

• Experience working with secondary-aged children or young people.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Confidence leading a classroom independently.
• A positive, professional and adaptable approach.
• The ability to build strong relationships with students and staff.
• A genuine interest in education and supporting young people.
• A degree or previous school-based experience is desirable but not essential.
