THE ROLE:
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Court of Protection Solicitor to join a leading, Legal 500 firm seeking to grow its specialist team. You will be managing a caseload of property and affairs files alongside the firm’s case workers, assisting senior team members with complex cases, ensuring daily contact is maintained with clients, advising on a wide selection of practical and legal issues and undertaking applications to the court. This firm undertakes a wealth of contested, high-value Court of Protection work, including cases with jurisdictional issues and financial abuse investigation work.
THE CANDIDATE:
Applications are welcomed from individuals with 2+ years of experience in Court of Protection and/or property and affairs, who are well versed in professional deputyship work and are experienced in applying for and contesting Court of Protection matters. In addition to this, applicants must have a knowledge of welfare issues and different care funding options including local authority and NHS funding.
