Corporate Account Handler

PURPOSE OF ROLEOur client is seeking an experienced Senior Account Handler to join their Corporate Team. This key role involves managing complex commercial insurance portfolios, delivering excellent client service, and supporting business growth. You will work closely with Account Executives to provide tailored insurance solutions while ensuring regulatory compliance.RESPONSIBILITIESManage a portfolio of commercial clients, acting as their main contactDeliver customised insurance solutions to meet client needsLead the renewal process, negotiating terms with insurersEnsure accurate policy administration and documentationAdvise clients on insurance options and coveragesMaintain compliance with FCA regulations and internal standardsSupport and mentor junior team membersCollaborate across departments to improve client serviceKeep up to date with market trends and insurer relationshipsDAY-TO-DAYHandle client enquiries and provide insurance adviceManage renewals, policy changes, and claims supportPrepare presentations and negotiate with insurersProduce branded reports for new business opportunitiesConduct compliance checks on client documentationEXPERIENCEProven experience in a senior commercial account handling roleStrong knowledge of commercial insurance products and marketsSolid understanding of FCA compliance requirementsFamiliar with insurance management platformsCII qualification or willingness to pursue is preferredExperience with Acturis or similar systems is desirableSKILLSExcellent organisation and prioritisation skillsStrong communication and relationship-building abilitiesDetail-focused and proactive problem solverClient-oriented with a commitment to exceptional serviceAbility to guide and support junior colleaguesIf you have the relevant experience or know someone that does please contact me now on
