A highly regarded independent Commercial Broker is currently looking to add home-based (remote) Commercial Account Handlers to both their new business and renewals teams. They seek driven and motivated professionals with previous commercial insurance experience to support a diverse and interesting group of clients.The Account Handler will support the Account Executive in managing the client portfolio, including setting up actions required for contract renewal.The Account Handler is the first point of contact for external queries and issues and must meet client expectations.This is a remote position with occasional visits to the office.About the role:Deliver high-quality and efficient service to clients.Work closely with Account Executives to provide insurance services to existing and potential clients.Clients range from small to large corporate risks.Ensure documentation related to insurance placements, amendments, or renewals is completed accurately and promptly.Contribute to a professional company image focused on customer satisfaction.Key skills/experience required:Previous account handling experience in a commercial insurance environment with relevant technical knowledge.Good communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.Excellent relationship-building skills.Experience working with Acturis.Ability to work under pressure and process large amounts of information quickly.Influencing and negotiation skills.Interest in progressing CII qualifications is a plus but not essential.Salary/Benefits:Salary up to £45kRemote/home-basedMarket-leading benefits package31 days holiday plus bank holidaysOpportunities for career development and progressionReference: DH/86860By responding to this advert, you consent to Cavendish Maine processing your personal data.If successful, we will contact you within 48 hours to discuss the opportunity.If you do not hear within 3 working days, your application may be unsuccessful.
