Residential Conveyancing Paralegal Location: Milton Keynes Job Type: Full-time We are seeking a dedicated Residential Conveyancing Paralegal to provide comprehensive administrative and legal support within our residential conveyancing team. This role is crucial for maintaining excellent business relationships and ensuring the smooth operation of property transactions to the standards of the Company, CLC, and the Law Society''s Conveyancing Quality Scheme. Day-to-Day of the Role: Provide legal administrative support including submitting searches, land registry applications, and mortgage redemptions. Offer office administrative support such as opening files, client ID checking, filing, faxing, scanning, photocopying, and closing files. Engage with the residential conveyancing team to support legal activities like handling enquiries, taking instructions from clients, and keeping clients and agents updated. Manage communications with estate agents, solicitors, clients, and other third parties in a professional manner, including giving proposals and managing queries. Handle financial administrative tasks including preparing invoices and financial statements, redeeming mortgages, arranging bank transfers, and inputting data. Prepare files for completion and manage post-completion tasks such as SDLT returns and Land Registry applications while liaising with lenders.
