A well-established and growing law firm is looking for an enthusiastic Conveyancing Assistant to join its friendly Residential Conveyancing team in Harrogate.

Working alongside an experienced conveyancer, you will provide support across a broad range of residential conveyancing matters, including:

• Sales and purchases

• Remortgages

• Transfers of equity

• Taking initial enquiries and preparing quotes

• Responding to client queries and managing expectations

• Drafting legal documents and correspondence

• Updating case management systems and databases

• Liaising with clients, estate agents and lenders

• Attending meetings and providing general administrative support

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their conveyancing career. You will receive training and ongoing support, with the opportunity to take on a small caseload independently as your experience develops.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has at least 18 months'' experience in a conveyancing or similar legal support role

• Has a genuine interest in developing their conveyancing career

• Has excellent client service and communication skills

• Is highly organised with strong time-management skills

• Can manage deadlines and remain calm under pressure

• Has excellent attention to detail and IT skills

• Has experience using a case management system (desirable, but not essential)

• Understands the importance of confidentiality and data protection

• Can work effectively as part of a team while also using their own initiative

• Ideally has a full, clean driving licence and lives locally
