Role Description
The Contract Administrator is a full-time, on-site role based in Cheltenham. We are seeking a Contracts Administrator with a focus on commercial delivery of projects. You will provide a key support function to the commercial team in the administration, coordination and risk management of supplier relationships throughout the lifecycle of major infrastructure BESS projects.

Key Responsibilities
- Contract Administration: Maintain commercial registers, logs (variations, claims, correspondence), and track critical contractual dates, notices, and clause compliance.

Cost Control & Financials: Track committed costs, actuals, and forecasts. Help prepare project cost/commercial reports against baselines, cash flow forecasts, and cash collection.

Payments & Invoicing: Assist in preparing progress/milestone claims, assess 3rd-party payment applications, and verify subcontractor/supplier invoices against contract terms.

Variations & Risk Management: Log and manage contract variations, assist in commercial negotiations, quantify financial risks/recoveries, and monitor regulatory changes.

Stakeholder Support & Close-Out: Coordinate with internal/external teams, support audits, assist business development/financing, and manage project close-outs and final accounts.

Undertake ad-hoc commercial and administrative tasks to support the wider project team when necessary.
