Contract Quality Engineer Immediate StartLocation: Luton, Onsite 5 Days Per WeekDuration: 3 MonthsRate: £30.00 £40.00 per hour depending on experience (Outside IR35) We are urgently seeking an experienced Contract Quality Engineer to join a leading aerospace/manufacturing business on an initial 3-month contract.This role requires someone with proven experience completing FAIRs (AS9102) and working within an AS9100 environment. You will play a key role in ensuring product quality, supplier performance, and compliance with customer and industry standards.Key Responsibilities for the appointed Contract Quality Engineer;Complete FAIRs (AS9102) and support PPAP (AS9145) activities.Conduct internal and supplier audits in line with the Quality Management System.Lead root cause investigations using 8D methodologies.Drive continuous improvement initiatives to meet AS9100, NADCAP, and customer requirements.Manage supplier quality approvals, FAIR/PPAP submissions, and performance.Analyse quality KPIs and implement improvement actions.Ensure product compliance throughout the manufacturing lifecycle.The selected Contract Quality Engineer will need to meet the following requirements;Proven background as a Quality Engineer within aerospace or precision manufacturing.Strong experience completing FAIRs (AS9102).Knowledge of AS9100, PPAP, APQPStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience using 8D.Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.This role may ..... full job details .....
