Continuous Improvement technician

Thrive Group are delighted to working with our client in North Tawton who is actively looking to recruit a Continuous Improvement Technician t to join the team on a permanent basis. What you will be doing: Leads weekly CI meetings for planned downtime and speed loss applying data analyses, structured problem solving and improvement tools. Creates plan for improvement of OEE for production lines Defines, process confirms and improves operational standards including OAC. Trains and coaches Line Team to ensure performance according to operational standards and secure right use of IT systems. What you will need to succeed: Basic understanding of food manufacturing. Knowledge of Lean Principles (Six Sigma qualification) would be preferred. Previous experience within an FMCG or dairy industry would be advantageous but not essential as training will be provided.
