Continuous Improvement technician

Thrive Group are delighted to working with our client in North Tawton who is actively looking to recruit a Continuous Improvement Technician t to join the team on a permanent basis.
 
What you will be doing:

• Leads weekly CI meetings for planned downtime and speed loss applying data analyses, structured problem solving and improvement tools.
• Creates plan for improvement of OEE for production lines
• Defines, process confirms and improves operational standards including OAC.
• Trains & coaches Line Team to ensure performance according to operational standards and secure right use of IT systems.

 
What you will need to succeed:

• Basic understanding of food manufacturing.
• Knowledge of Lean Principles (Six Sigma qualification) would be preferred.
• Previous experience within an FMCG or dairy industry would be advantageous but not essential as training will be provided.  
• Database experience, working with SQL code, preferred but not essential as training will be given

What you will receive in return:

• Salary: £35,000 to £40,000 (DOE)
• Monday to Friday : 08.00AM to 16.00PM
• Holiday allowance: 26 days + 8 bank holidays
