Join ClickZ Media as Content Editor for our flagship finance publications, Accountancy Age and The CFO, where you''ll lead editorial strategy for two of the UK''s most influential finance brands. This role combines traditional editorial excellence with AI integration, managing multi-channel content across website publishing, daily newsletters, and social media.You will work closely with commercial teams, industry thought leaders, and internal stakeholders to shape an editorial voice reaching over 65,000 senior finance professionals daily. This is a technology-forward role within established brands, offering opportunities to innovate in B2B finance journalism.Key Responsibilities
Editorial Leadership and Content Strategy: Develop and implement editorial strategies to drive engagement and audience growth for Accountancy Age and The CFO; manage daily editorial calendars; commission, edit, and publish breaking news, analysis, and thought leadership; maintain editorial standards and brand voice across formats; monitor industry trends to identify content opportunities.Newsletter Management: Lead daily and weekly newsletter production, content curation, writing, and scheduling; manage LinkedIn newsletter strategy; coordinate with commercial teams to integrate sponsored content; track and optimize newsletter performance.Social Media and Digital Content: Oversee social media strategy across LinkedIn, X (Twitter), and Facebook; create and schedule platform-specific content; collaborate with the social media team to ensure consistent brand messaging.Commercial Coordination: Work with commercial teams to integrate sponsored content while maintaining editorial integrity and audience value; coordinate campaign timing and content placement.Content Performance and Analytics: Monitor content performance across channels; provide weekly editorial metrics; use data insights to refine strategy; contribute to broader business reporting.Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal teams (commercial, marketing, product); build relationships with industry sources and contributors; manage external partnerships and content collaborations; represent brands at industry events.About You
The ideal candidate has a proven track record in fast-moving editorial environments and is comfortable with digital publishing and content strategy.Education and Experience
Bachelor''s degree in Journalism, Communications, English, Finance, or related field3-5 years editorial experience, preferably in B2B publishing or financial mediaExperience managing multiple content channels and formats; newsletter management and social media strategy experienceTechnical Skills
Proficiency with WordPressExperience with social media management tools (e.g., Buffer, Hootsuite)Strong understanding of SEO and content optimizationFamiliarity with email marketing platforms and newsletters (e.g., Marketo)Basic knowledge of content analytics and performance measurementCore Competencies
