The Consultant will support staff in assessing, diagnosing, and managing referrals for working-age adults with mental health issues at Epsom General Hospital. They will provide medical expertise and support to hospital staff managing patients with functional and organic mental health problems.The role includes supervising the clinical caseload of team members and trainees, facilitating appropriate interventions, discharge planning, and communication with Primary Care, CMHRS, or Inpatient Services.Clinical work involves direct assessment and psychiatric treatment of patients or supervision of team members.This job offers a Recruitment and Retention payment of £25,000, pro-rata for part-time staff.
