Overview
Appointments are made to the Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and the person appointed is required to be sufficiently flexible to undertake their main clinical duties at any of the sites within the Region and/or to change their base hospital.Responsibilities
The appointee, together with consultant colleagues, will be responsible for the provision of adult neurological services to Barnsley and Sheffield Teaching Hospitals.The appointee will be expected to contribute to the routine outpatient general neurological workload, provide a ward liaison service at Barnsley Hospital, as well as general and sub-specialty clinics in Sheffield at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital and the Northern General Hospital.The person appointed will be required to cover for colleagues during periods of absence.
