We are looking to recruit a full-time Consultant Neurologist to Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust based at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital, with outpatient clinics at Sheffield and Barnsley Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is one of the UK''s largest and most successful NHS foundation trusts. The appointee will be required to be sufficiently flexible to undertake main clinical duties at any of the sites within the region and/or to change base hospital. The appointee, together with consultant colleagues, will be responsible for the provision of adult neurological services to Barnsley and Sheffield Teaching Hospitals. They will contribute to the routine outpatient general neurological workload, provide a ward liaison service at Barnsley Hospital, as well as general and sub-specialty clinics in Sheffield at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital and the Northern General Hospital. The post holder may be required to cover for colleagues during periods of absence and will have continuing responsibility for patients in their care and the proper functioning of the Department.About us
