Construction Manager

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to join a major civil engineering delivery team, overseeing complex infrastructure works across multiple active sites. This role is central to ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery across earthworks, drainage, and structural packages.The RoleAs Construction Manager, you will lead and coordinate a team of Non-Working Supervisors (NWS) and Frontline Supervisors (FLS), working alongside site operatives to deliver works safely, on time, and to specification.You will take responsibility for ensuring a strong safety culture, effective communication, and consistent implementation of safe systems of work across your area.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage site supervisors and ensure safe, compliant delivery of worksOversee implementation and adherence to safe systems of workCarry out regular site inspections, identify hazards, and ensure corrective actions are closed outEnsure toolbox talks, inductions, and safety briefings are delivered to a high standardMonitor workforce performance, quality standards, and site complianceCoordinate plant, materials, and equipment, ensuring efficient site logisticsSupport project planning and provide technical input into programmesMaintain accurate site records, allocation sheets, and inspection documentationLiaise closely with Project Managers on progress, workforce performance, and delivery issuesDrive health and safety compliance, including PPE adherence and welfare ..... full job details .....
