The successful candidate will:

• Deliver engaging Computer Science lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.
• Teach programming, algorithms, cyber security, networks, and computer systems.
• Prepare students for GCSE Computer Science examinations.
• Foster enthusiasm for technology and digital skills.
• Monitor and assess student performance effectively.
• Support extracurricular coding clubs and enrichment activities.
• Contribute to curriculum development and departmental initiatives.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching Computer Science within a secondary school setting.
• Strong subject knowledge and understanding of current technology trends.
• Excellent classroom management abilities.
• Ability to motivate and engage learners of all abilities.
• Commitment to safeguarding and student development.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
