Compliance Officer

Hyperion Partners is delighted to be working with a respected Housing Association in London to recruit an experienced Compliance Officer. This is an excellent opportunity to join a customer-focused organisation committed to providing safe, high-quality homes and delivering outstanding services to its residents. As Compliance Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring the organisation remains compliant with statutory and regulatory obligations across property safety and building compliance. Working closely with internal teams and external contractors, you will help deliver an effective compliance programme that puts resident safety at the heart of everything. Key Responsibilities Monitor statutory compliance across key areas including gas, electrical, fire safety, asbestos, water hygiene (Legionella) and lifts. Schedule, track and monitor compliance inspections, servicing and remedial works. Ensure all compliance records, certification and documentation are accurate, up to date and audit-ready. Liaise with contractors to ensure inspections and works are completed within agreed timescales. Monitor contractor performance and escalate any compliance risks or overdue actions. Produce compliance reports and performance information for managers and stakeholders. Support internal and external audits and assist with regulatory inspections.
