The Compliance Manager is responsible for leading and managing the company''s compliance function, ensuring all products, packaging, suppliers, and business processes meet relevant UK, EU, and international regulatory requirements.Working cross-functionally with Sales, Design, Buying, Product Development, Shipping, Warehousing, Factories, Testing Laboratories, and CustomersClient DetailsA great opportunity to join a successful Product business in Skelmersdale area. The business supply a number of retailers in the UK and Europe , everyday and seasonal products. DescriptionDevelop, implement and continuously improve the company''s compliance strategy, policies, and procedures.Ensure all products and packaging comply with applicable UK, EU and international legislation and standards.Monitor regulatory developments relating to product safety, packaging, labelling, environmental and sustainability legislation.Assess business impact of regulatory changes and lead implementation of required actions.Act as the subject matter expert for compliance-related matters across the business.Provide leadership, guidance and training to internal stakeholders on compliance requirements and best practices.Deliver regular compliance updates, reports and risk assessments to senior leadership.ProfileA successful Compliance Manager should have:Experience ..... full job details .....
