You will work closely with a dedicated team to support students'' development, learning, and personal care.As a Teaching Assistant, You Will:Provide 1:1 and small-group support tailored to individual needs.Assist with personal care, feeding, hygiene, and mobility, including moving and handling (training provided).Support sensory-based learning and communication, using tools such as Makaton, PECS, or other communication systems.Work with teachers, therapists, and care staff to implement Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).Create a calm, supportive, and structured environment that encourages engagement, comfort, and emotional wellbeing.What We''re Looking For:Experience supporting children or young people with PMLD, complex needs, SEND, or within care or health settings (desirable).A patient, compassionate, and resilient approach, with an understanding of individualised support.Willingness to support personal care, medical routines, and physical needs.Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.A commitment to safeguarding and ..... full job details .....
