Complex Needs Teaching Assistant Female Only Location: Whitechapel, East LondonSchool: All-Girls Secondary SchoolPosition: Full-TimeRate: £100 £120 per dayStart Date: ASAPPrincipal Education are currently recruiting for an experienced Complex Needs Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive all-girls secondary school in Whitechapel.This is a fantastic opportunity for a caring, patient and experienced TA who has a strong background supporting students with complex needs, personal care and physical support requirements.The Role The successful candidate will provide dedicated support to a student with complex additional needs, helping them to access learning and participate fully in school life.Responsibilities will include: Providing 1:1 and classroom support to a student with complex needs.Supporting with personal care and intimate care when required.Assisting with manual handling and mobility support.Following individual care and support plans.Supporting the student to access lessons and school activities.Promoting independence, dignity and wellbeing.Working closely with teachers, SENCO and other support staff.Maintaining a calm, patient and nurturing approach at all times.
