The Role:

As a Complex Needs Assistant, you will be working in a specialist setting within Redbridge, supporting students with a variety of complex needs including autism, physical disabilities, and medical conditions. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality support tailored to each child''s individual education plan. Prior experience in a SEN environment is desirable but not essential - full education and training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

Work closely with teachers and therapists to support students in their educational journey

Assist with personal care tasks where required

Promote independence and self-confidence through tailored support

Help implement behaviour management strategies

Support learning activities both in and out of the classroom

Requirements:

A genuine passion for working with children with special needs

Ability to remain patient, calm, and supportive

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Willingness to undergo necessary education and training

Prior experience in a similar role is a bonus, but not essential
