SEN Complex Needs TeacherSpecialist SEND School Uxbridge, HillingdonA lovely specialist school in Uxbridge is seeking a dedicated and skilled Complex Needs Teacher to join its experienced and supportive team.This is a rewarding opportunity to teach children and young people aged 7 19 with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), and additional complex needs, across a range of key stages. Pupils are working at a variety of levels, including Entry Level and Functional Skills pathways.The RoleThe successful candidate will: Take responsibility for the progress and outcomes of all pupils within their class. Lead and coordinate a team of SEND Teaching Assistants to deliver high-quality, consistent provision. Plan and deliver engaging, creative and highly personalised lessons aligned to agreed timetables. Teach core subjects, including English, in meaningful and functional contexts. Adopt a holistic approach, drawing on a range of educational and therapeutic strategies to meet individual needs. Promote pupils independence, communication and social development. Ensure the safety, wellbeing and safeguarding of all pupils at all times. The Ideal CandidateWe are looking for a teacher who: Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Has experience teaching pupils with SEN, particularly complex needs and/or SLD.
