Community IV Nurse
Bank Community IV Nurse Flexible Hours Approximately 20-30 Hours per Week Community-Based The Role We are looking for an experienced and motivated Bank Community IV Nurse to join our community nursing service, working approximately 20-30 hours per week on a flexible basis. You will provide high-quality, patient-centred intravenous therapy and specialist nursing care to patients in their own homes and community settings. Supporting patients throughout their treatment journey, you will deliver prescribed IV therapies, undertake clinical assessments and monitoring, and provide education and support to patients, families and carers. You will help patients feel confident managing their treatment while ensuring care is delivered safely and in accordance with clinical standards. Working closely with pharmacists, consultants, specialist nurses and other healthcare professionals, you will play an important role in enabling patients to receive specialist treatment safely outside of the hospital environment. As a bank nurse, you will have the opportunity to work flexibly while maintaining your clinical skills and delivering meaningful one-to-one patient care in the community. Key Responsibilities Deliver safe and effective IV therapies in patients'' homes and community settings in accordance with clinical guidelines, Service Operating Procedures and prescribed treatment plans.
