Role Summary:We are seeking a proactive, resilient, and highly organised Commissioning Officer to support the strategic development, design, and delivery of adult social care services. Focusing on Day Opportunities, Carers support, and Prevention strategies, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping a vibrant, high-quality care market. Working in an agile, project-led environment, you will drive initiatives that promote wellbeing, early intervention, and independence for vulnerable adults and their carers acrossthe council.Key Responsibilities:Project Delivery and ManagementLead and support complex commissioning projects across Day Opportunities, Carers, and Prevention services from conception to delivery.Agile WorkingApply agile project methodologies to adapt to changing service demands, ensuring project milestones, document control, and strategic goals are met efficiently.Stakeholder Engagement and Co-productionBuild robust, collaborative relationships with internal teams, external providers, health partners, service users, and carers.
