We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced ECandI Commissioning Manager to join our client’s Defence project in Berkshire. This is one of the most complex and challenging infrastructure projects in the UK, and we are looking for someone with the technical expertise and leadership skills to help deliver the successful commissioning and demonstration of specialist equipment, building services and control systems required to operate the facility.Responsibilities

Oversee commissioning activities across a range of systems including BMS, HVAC, and Process Plant Equipment, primarily based on Siemens S7 PLC systems.Manage the production and approval of commissioning documentation, ensure safe testing procedures are followed, and resolve issues identified during commissioning.Witness Factory Acceptance Testing, Setting to Work, and Site Acceptance Testing, while coordinating commissioning tests with suppliers and integrating them into the overall project programme.Deliver commissioning work packages, prepare progress updates, manage changes to schedules and resources, and chair reviews with stakeholders.Qualifications

Strong ECandI commissioning experience, particularly with BMS systems, vent plant, or similarExperience managing commissioning teams and delivering complex projectsBackground in defence or other highly regulated technical sectorsExcellent stakeholder engagement and communication skillsKnowledge of commissioning methodologies and safety standardsFamiliarity with Siemens S7 PLC systems and software documentationSound technical knowledge across electrical, mechanical, and process systemsFull UK driving licenceDegree or HNC in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (or equivalent experience)Current holder of SC or DV clearance, or willingness and eligibility to obtainDesirable knowledge
