COMMERCIAL PROPERTY FEE EARNER, 3+ YEARS' EXPERIENCE, LIVERPOOL - Take the Next Step in Your Commercial Property Career with a Growing Liverpool Practice
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Commercial Property Fee Earner to join an established law firm in Liverpool City Centre.
You will manage a varied caseload of commercial and residential property transactions, working within a busy property department and providing a high standard of service to clients. There is also scope for the successful candidate to develop their own client following and generate new business.
The Role
You will handle property transactions from instruction through to completion, with responsibilities including:
Managing a varied caseload of commercial and residential property matters
Providing quotations and advising clients on anticipated costs, including legal fees and SDLT
Drafting and reviewing contracts, leases, transfer deeds and other property documentation
Conducting searches and reporting to clients and lenders
Liaising with other parties, mortgage lenders and professional contacts
Preparing reports on title, financial statements and SDLT/LTT forms
Dealing with completions and post-completion requirements
Progressing transactions efficiently and working to deadlines
Identifying opportunities to develop client relationships and generate new work
The Candidate
Applications are sought from Commercial Property Fee Earners with a minimum of 3 years' recent experience in commercial conveyancing.
You will have:
Strong technical knowledge of commercial property transactions
Experience managing your own caseload from instruction through to completion
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
The confidence to work independently and use your own initiative
A client-focused approach and the ability to work to deadlines
An interest in developing client relationships and contributing to business development
