Overview:

First Military Recruitment is working in partnership with our reputable client who is seeking an experienced Commercial Plumber to join their commercial maintenance team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced plumbing professional to join an established organisation, providing comprehensive maintenance and repair services across communal and commercial dwelling areas.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the management, maintenance and repair of communal water distribution systems, ensuring all work is completed professionally, safely and to a high standard in accordance with current regulations and legislation.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive management and maintenance of communal water distribution systems within commercial dwellings.
• Diagnose plumbing faults and identify appropriate repair solutions.
• Source required parts and materials to complete repairs effectively.
• Carry out repairs and maintenance to a high professional standard.
• Maintain and repair hot and cold-water distribution systems.
• Work on communal plumbing systems and associated infrastructure.
• Carry out work in accordance with current regulations, legislation and health and safety requirements.
• Complete first-time fixes wherever possible.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation relating to completed works.
• Communicate professionally with customers, colleagues and other stakeholders.
• Work independently while managing a varied workload across the designated area.

Skills and Qualifications:

• City & Guilds Level 2/3 Plumbing qualification.
• Formal Water Regulations training.
• Minimum 3 years'' relevant plumbing experience.
• Excellent knowledge and practical experience of communal plumbing systems.
• Excellent working knowledge of hot and cold-water distribution services.
• Good knowledge of communal heating plant.
• Asbestos Awareness certification.
• Training or certification in Working at Height, Manual Handling and First Aid (1-Day), or equivalent.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
• Full UK driving licence.
