Commercial Manager - (Tunnelling)

Our client, a leading consultancy in the construction sector, is currently seeking a Commercial Manager - Target Outturn Cost Assurance (Tunnelling) to join their team in London. This is a permanent position with the requirement for occasional travel to Orwell Logistics Park.This is specifically within the Nuclear industry, notably for Sizewell C.Key Responsibilities:Overseeing cost management and quantity surveying for tunnelling and underground construction projectsConducting TOC assurance and commercial risk reviewsEngaging and managing relationships with contractorsProviding expert advice on TBM operations, shaft construction, and underground structuresSupporting project delivery across sectors including highways, defence and security, nuclear, and railDelivering commercial input and analysis to complex tunnelling projectsEnsuring project costs are managed efficiently and effectivelyJob Requirements:Experience in tunnelling and underground construction projectsStrong understanding of TBM operations, shaft construction, and underground structuresExperience in cost management and quantity surveyingProven track record in carrying out TOC assurance and commercial risk reviewsAbility to engage and manage contractor relationshipsExperience within the highways, defence and security, nuclear, and rail sectors is advantageousRelevant degree or equivalent qualification in quantity surveying or a related fieldStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsBenefits:Competitive ..... full job details .....
