Commercial Litigation Solicitor, 5+ Years PQE, Cheltenham, £65,000+ (DOE) - We're looking for an experienced Commercial Litigation Solicitor to join a growing Dispute Resolution team in Cheltenham. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially focused lawyer who enjoys handling a varied caseload, building strong client relationships and working as part of a collaborative, high-performing team. THE ROLE:
• You will advise a broad portfolio of clients, ranging from businesses and entrepreneurs to charities, trusts and private individuals, across a wide variety of contentious matters.
• You will be responsible for a varied caseload to include commercial and civil litigation, property-related disputes, contentious probate matters and alternative dispute resolution, including mediation and negotiated settlements.
• You will take ownership of your own caseload while working alongside senior colleagues on larger and more complex matters where appropriate.
• As an experienced member of the team, you'll also have opportunities to support and mentor junior lawyers, helping to develop talent across the department.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
• Applications are sought from Commercial Litigation Solicitors with a minimum of 5 Years PQE.
• Strong technical knowledge across commercial and civil disputes.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation and advocacy skills.
• Experience advising clients through every stage of the litigation process, from early strategy through to trial or settlement.
• The ability to work effectively with counsel and other professional advisers.
• Commercial awareness and a pragmatic approach to resolving disputes.
• Outstanding communication skills and a genuine commitment to delivering exceptional client service.
• An interest in networking, business development and contributing to the continued growth of the team and firm.
