Commercial Lead - SC Cleared

We are currently recruiting for an interim Commercial Lead for a government organisation who will be responsible for shaping and delivering commercial strategies that ensure value for money, compliance, and effective supplier management across a large Change Management programme. The role supports the organisation in achieving its policy and operational objectives through robust procurement and contract management practices. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement commercial strategies aligned with organisational priorities and government regulations. Lead end-to-end procurement activities, ensuring compliance with public sector procurement rules. Manage and oversee complex contracts, driving performance, value, and risk mitigation. Provide commercial advice to senior stakeholders and project teams. Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders. Identify opportunities for cost savings, innovation, and continuous improvement. Ensure governance, transparency, and audit readiness across all commercial activities.
