Commercial Finance Manager

Overview

We are working exclusively with a high growth international luxury retail brand to recruit an experienced Commercial Finance Manager (newly created role). The business is on a strong upward trajectory, currently turning over circa £120m and looking to establish their commercial finance function. Headquartered in Central London with a hybrid working pattern - 3 days per week in the office. The business has an embedded people-centric culture, and you would be joining a fantastic team of driven individuals who love their jobs.I''m looking for a great communicator and business partner, someone commercially savvy, with strong analytical skills and the ability to present financial data clearly and accurately to senior leadership and non-finance personnel.About the Role

Lead the development and execution of financial strategies that support business growth and performanceOwnership of the annual budgeting and reforecasting process, preparing forecasts on a regular basis to enable good decisions and to hold operational and marketing teams accountableDrive business planning, financial modelling, and long-term budgetingDeliver accurate, insightful reporting and financial analysis that supports operational and strategic decisions, providing commercial challenge and support to drive cost efficiency, margin improvement, and ROIChampion robust working capital practices and cashflow forecastingPrepare feasibility analyses and investment appraisals to support decision making around new store openings, capital investment and other key business-related activitySupport the property team in forecasting CAPEX requirements for new stores (international) and provide budget control for new openingsModelling and monitoring of store performance, payroll and operating costs for the UK and International storesCollaborate closely with the Financial Control team during the month end process in a timely and organised mannerSupport the growth and development of the Management AccountantAbout You

Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)Retail and wholesale industry experience within an SME environment is a mustBusiness Partnering experience with ability to manage and influence stakeholdersExcellent communication skills - able to tell a complex story in a compelling manner via all means of communication (written, visual and verbal)Problem solving - analyses and understands complex data and situations to recommend the optimal solutionResults focused - delivers work end to end to conclusion in a planned and controlled mannerExcel modelling - demonstrable experience of building models and reports from a blank canvasWorking Pattern
