Full Time | Office Based | Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pm
Due to continued growth, our client is looking to recruit a Property Secretary to join their busy Commercial and Residential Property department.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Legal Secretary, Conveyancing Secretary, Property Administrator looking to develop their career within a well-established legal practice. Working alongside experienced property professionals, you'll play an important role in supporting property transactions and delivering exceptional service to clients.
The Role
As Property Secretary, you will provide comprehensive administrative and secretarial support to a busy team handling both residential and commercial property matters.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and formatting legal documents and correspondence
- Opening, maintaining and closing client files
- Liaising with clients, estate agents and third parties
- Handling telephone and email enquiries
- Supporting fee earners with property transactions
- Requesting and monitoring searches and property documentation
- Assisting with exchange and completion administration
- Maintaining accurate records and updating case management systems
- Monitoring key dates, deadlines and outstanding actions
- Providing clients with regular updates throughout the transaction process
About You
We are keen to speak with candidates who are organised, detail-focused and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
Ideally, you will have:
- Previous legal secretarial, conveyancing, property administration experience
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication and client service skills
- Strong organisational and time management abilities
- Good IT skills
- The ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities
- A positive, hardworking and professional approach
