College Nurse, South London, Locum, Band 6Reed FE are recruiting for a Band 6 College Nurse to support young adults aged 16+ with learning disabilities, autism, complex needs and associated health conditions within a specialist education setting. The Role As a College Nurse, you will work as part of a large multidisciplinary team, providing high-quality, person-centred nursing support to students with complex needs. Key responsibilities include: Leading on healthcare planning and medication management Undertaking nursing assessments and delivering appropriate interventions Responding to medical emergencies and supporting students with complex health needs Contributing to EHCP reviews, reports and multidisciplinary meetings Working collaboratively with families, education staff and external agencies Monitoring and evaluating healthcare interventions Supervising junior clinical staff where required Promoting independence, choice and positive outcomes for learners Maintaining accurate clinical records in line with NMC standards Supporting safeguarding, health and safety, and clinical governance processes Requirements Degree or Graduate Diploma in Nursing Current NMC Registration Experience working with young people or adults with ..... full job details .....
