CNC Turning Engineer Location: Stirling Salary: 35-40k Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time A leading precision engineering manufacturer is looking for an experienced CNC Turning Engineer to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled CNC machinist with strong turning experience who is confident with programming, setting and operating CNC mill/turn machinery. The Role Program, set and operate CNC mill/turn lathes, specifically Mori NLX2500/700 machines with Mitsubishi controls. Program machines offline using Fusion 360. Produce high-quality components to precise customer specifications and required tolerances. Interpret engineering drawings, CAD data and job sheet requirements. Carry out first-off inspections and in-process quality checks. Use measuring equipment including micrometers, verniers and bore gauges. Identify and resolve machining issues including tool wear, dimensional variation and surface-finish problems. Troubleshoot basic machine, tooling and programming issues. Prepare components for secondary operations including surface treatments, finishing, fitting and tapping. Carry out machinery health checks, servicing and maintenance as required. Raise any concession requests, NCRs or potential production delays with the CNC Manager. Maintain high standards of health and safety and quality throughout the manufacturing process.
