You''ll help ensure machinery runs efficiently, production targets are met and work is completed to the required quality and safety standards.The role would suit an experienced CNC machinist who has already taken on supervisory or team leadership responsibilities and is confident managing production activities with limited support during the night shift.The RoleLead and support the night-shift production team, allocating work and monitoring progress.Set and operate CNC machinery, including EDM equipment where applicable.Monitor production output, quality and machine performance.Deal with day-to-day production issues and support problem solving.Ensure engineering drawings, specifications and quality requirements are followed.Promote safe working practices and maintain good housekeeping standards.Support continuous improvement and the development of team members.About YouPrevious supervisory or team leadership experience is essential, alongside a strong practical background in ..... full job details .....
