Cnc Setter Operator

Job Overview

We are recruiting for an experienced-CNC Milling Setter Operator-to join our team in the Wolverhampton area, working within automotive and general engineering.

The successful candidate will be responsible for setting and operating CNC milling machines, producing components to specification within a batch production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Set and operate CNC milling machines.
• Edit and write simple CNC programmes.
• Work with-Haas machines-using-Fanuc controls.
• Inspect components to ensure they meet required quality standards.
• Work efficiently within a batch production environment.
• Maintain a high standard of quality and attention to detail.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a CNC Milling Setter/Operator.
• Experience with Haas CNC machines and Fanuc controls.
• Ability to edit and write simple programmes.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Experience inspecting components using appropriate measuring equipment.
• Reliable, conscientious and able to work independently.

Working Hours

• 39 hours per week
• 30-minute lunch break
