CNC Setter

CNC Setter required to join our clients manufacturing team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with industry-leading technologies, supporting high-speed 5-axis machining of automotive components in a fast-paced production environment. Available is a competitive salary of over £40K and good working hours and holiday provision. Work Hours: 37.5 hours on double daysAs CNC Setter your Key Responsibilities will include: Support daily production and resolve machining issuesSet and optimise CNC machines for performance and qualityConduct fault finding, diagnostics, and troubleshootingMonitor part quality and adjust offsets to maintain capabilityProve out new CNC programs, CNC setting and setting tooling, and fixturesDrive TPM and 5S initiatives across the shop floor Essential Requirements Apprentice trained or formally qualified in CNC machiningProven experience setting CNC machines in a production environmentStrong experience with 5-axis machining (aluminium preferred)Machining Centres / Milling MachinesKnowledge of G and M code programming (Siemens controllers advantageous) Desirable Skills ABB robot operation/programmingHydraulic clampingKnowledge of straightening processesExperience implementing 5S / lean manufacturing Current recent experience CNC Technician, CNC machinist, CNC Setter, CNC Miller, CNC Machining CentreIn Return: ..... full job details .....
