This is an exciting opportunity to advance your career and share your passion for precision engineering. Job role / duties Work with materials such as model board, aluminium and steel. Deal with any issues that arise in relation to machine programming and operating, adjusting where necessary Operate Siemens and Heidenheim controllers Use CMS Area 3618 5-axis, Dugard, Mte and Hurco machines Work with 3D CAD models and use Power Mill CAM software Work in line with machine capability to meet customer quality expectations. Liaise with colleagues and customers to ensure jobs are completed in the timeframe and quality parameters required Conduct inspections of finished products to ensure adherence to specifications and quality standards. Maintaining and promoting safe working practices within the department, including the correct operation of tools, equipment and PPE.
